Our story began at the local gym, where an hour on the treadmills turned into a shared journey. Matt & Sabirna, both moving on from past relationships, found a connection that would soon blossom into something extraordinary. That connection fueled the birth of Prodigy Pest Solutions.

The Heart Of Prodigy Pest Solution

For years, Matt had envisioned a pest control company built on genuine customer relationships, a stark contrast to the profit-driven focus I witnessed at larger corporations. When our son, Carter, was on the way in 2012, we took the leap and launched Prodigy Pest Solutions in August, just months before Carter’s arrival in December.

Those early days were a whirlwind, to say the least. We started as a 24/7 emergency service, determined to make our mark. Juggling a newborn and a fledgling business was challenging, but our shared values of trust and integrity kept us grounded. We believe in treating everyone with respect, always doing the right thing, and building lasting relationships.

Sabrina’s Journey to Prodigy

Before diving into Prodigy Pest Solutions, Sabrina was a doctorate-level school psychologist, dedicating her career to helping children on the autism spectrum. However, when Carter was born, she decided to prioritize being a full-time mom. It was at that time that she started helping with Prodigy, and she never looked back, bringing her exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to our family business.

We’ve had people chuckle when we told them we were starting a pest control company, saying, “You’re going to kill bugs.” But we know that pest control is about so much more. It’s about restoring peace of mind, solving problems, and making a real difference in people’s lives. That’s what makes our work so rewarding.

Matt, as the strategist and marketer, thrive on innovation and problem-solving. We complement each other perfectly, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Beyond Prodigy Passion for Food & Jiu Jitsu

Outside of Prodigy, you’ll find us at Steven Starr restaurants, lifting weights, or training Jiu Jitsu at The Vault. Matt began training Jiu Jitsu in 2006 and received his black belt from Gracie Humaita in 2019, while Sabrina, a purple belt since 2018, finds strength and discipline in the sport as well.
